I didn’t take any pictures today, so here is a picture of me taken when I was doing my doctoral studies in USA |
Let me start with the weather report. Yes, it is still awful. I wanted to pick up a mirror from a charity shop in the afternoon, but it was pouring rain. Carrying a big mirror won’t be ideal in the rain, so I postponed.
Andrew is working from home.
This week I started a new course on Children’s Mental Health. I want to work at school again, hopefully in the new term time. Meanwhile, I am equipping myself with various relevant learnings.
In between studying, I did 2 loads of laundry, run the dishwasher, organised craft storage cabinets, and ironed clothes. I had been looking for a sheet of first-class stamps since we moved and I thought I lost it so I bought a new set a few weeks ago. But I found them today among my ready stock handmade journals. Oh, I am so glad! That reminded me to send cards to friends and a relative.
I cooked a roasted chicken with curry sauce for dinner. I wanted to bake but maybe another day.
Busy… busy… busy.

Coram Deo:
My Bible reading today was on the parable of the mustard seed and the leaven. Another reminder of the certainty of growth in the Kingdom of God. It is perhaps slow and invisible, but the growth is steadily happening.
