Sunny it was, at least during the day. We started our morning routine a little late. I was on the phone calling my GP to enquire about my repeat prescription. Unsuccessful. The dispensing only opens their phone line in the afternoon.
The plan today was to bring the guest bed from Mum’s house. Brother in law supposed to be there and he could help. However, the plan did not work in the end. Instead of helping Andrew dismantled the bed, I got to go to the dispensary to ask what was going on with my repeat prescription. It was urgent since I really need it. So, on the way to Mum, Andrew dropped me at the GP. I was able to solve the problem. The unfortunate thing was that brother in law couldn’t come because his car broke down. I feel sorry for them. Both their cars are now broken. I do hope they’ll get those sorted. Andrew worked by himself there.
Once I got home I called Fostering and Adoption Team of the local council. No one picked it up despite the many times I tried. I emailed them and received an automatic email reply.
Oh, I finally repotted my plants. We got a couple of big pots last week and Andrew drilled holes in each for me. I repotted the Dragon Tree, two of my Monsteras, Swedish Ivy, and the Oxalis. I still need to repot some more plants but I was running out of soil.
Having indoor plants certainly requires a lot of maintenance but I enjoy every single bit of it. I want to pick up some more plants such as Pothos, Snake Plant, Wandering Jews, and some others. I kept asking Andrew to take me to Garden Centre and he kept saying that I will be dangerous there. It is perhaps like the way he is with books at a conference. 😄
Dinner today was Soto Ayam, an Indonesian dish. Andrew loved it!
It was raining and we got a pretty golden sunset.

Coram Deo:
When I was attempting to call the Fostering and Adoption Team, I did a bit of research on the adoption process. I cried. The Lord knows well that I always want to build an orphanage in Indonesia, yet here I am thinking of adopting in a foreign land instead. It felt surreal but I trust that God knows every hearts and He is good.
