Intro
I grew up in a family that treasures family worship. I remember waking up every morning to a worship song played from a cassette or to my father’s guitar playing. My parents woke us up (me and my brother) between 5 – 6 A.M. every morning to have family worship before leaving for work. Despite their busy working schedule, they faithfully encouraged us to open our Bible, sing our praises and thankfulness, and pray first thing in the morning. It felt like torture. Later on, I began to understand and appreciate their faithfulness in encouraging us in the faith. I am very thankful that my parents taught me the importance of family worship. The daily reading of the Word of God, the praises and prayers, come back to me in times of troubles and doubts, even in my adult life today. It has been a constant reminder of who God is. I am very thankful that my parents taught me the importance of family worship. And that is precious!

SONG LYRICS
Savior and King
Praise Him O, Soul!
Savior and King
When I was in bondage, I lived as a sinner
You were there laid Your life on the cross
You were there You set me free
By Your blood my sins forgiven
Now my life in You is hidden
You are worthy of all praise and glory
I will sing for You Christ my Savior (You’re my Savior, Lord)
Once I was a sinner now forgiven (I am forgiven)
I will worship You Christ Redeemer (You’re my Redeemer)
You’re the Way the Truth, to follow You I would
Blessed be Your name You’re my Savior and King
No other name like You
Jesus, You’re my Lord!
Praise Him O, Soul!
Let’s sing a new song to Christ the King
We lift our voice, rejoice!
All tongues proclaim Christ is Lord
Exalt the name of Christ Redeemer
Chorus:
Praise the Savior, praise Him now and ever
Oh worship the King and in joy we will sing
Fill the earth with His glory and his fame
Salvation has come through the Lamb that was slain
Praise Him, praise Him, Oh souls!
